Students studying in Music Teaching Programs do take compulsory piano education in the context of instrument training. For the students not to become distant from piano courses, not to get damaged by having to prolong their education and for them not to stay away from their instruments due to similar problems that their present music teachers might face, examining expert opinion the usability of one hand piano pieces has formed the problem status of this study. Study, exercise and piece have been the three types of repertory that have been prepared in order to enable the use of single hand piano repertory in music education. In order to determine whether or not the prepared repertory could measure the necessary skills of students in the piano course of the music teaching program, an expert group composed of three faculty members has been established. The repertories have been examined by the group of experts with a control list where the repertory evaluation criteria take place. The data obtained as a result of the examination made by experts have been calculated by using descriptive statistical methods. Percentages were calculated and reviewed by content analysis. When the results were analyzed,it is observed that instead and alonside of two hands piano repertoire in music teaching programmes piano lessons, can study one hand piano repertoire.
