Mobbing is a contemporary and key issue on healtcare institutions. Mobbing at work place can be described as hostile and unethical behaviours towards an employee to make him/her helpless and defenseless. Organizational silence on the other hand can be described as an employees intentional act of not informing superiors about his/her ideas, suggestions and thoughts. As a deliberate act, organizational silence damages creativity and productivity at work. An employee under mobbing can either fight back or keep his/her silence and patience during mobbing stages. The purpose of this study is to determinte mobbings affect on organizational silence. Carried out with the survey method in city of Sivas, our studys sample group is a group of nurses that work at a public sector hospital. To test the hypothesis of our work, we have conducted regression and corelation analysis. As per result, it is seen that mobbing is quite affective positively on all aspects of organizational silence. Also, we claim that, based on age, gender and tenure of the nurse, severity of mobbing behaviour is changed. We conclude that, mobbing increases organizational silence.
