The importance of emerging alternative tourism types is becoming increasingly important together with the changing perception in terms of tourism and tourists in our country. One of these types of tourism is faith tourism which focuses on visiting venues of cultural heritage and scared places. Our country possesses many sacred venues which generate opportunities for faith tourism. Konya province which also qualifies as the first capital in Anatolia has become one of the most important destinations in our country due to its cultural attractions in terms of faith tourism potential. Especially the importance of Mevlana Museum in the province which qualifies as a cultural heritage in terms of faith tourism increases day by day. The visitors of the Mevlana Museum have been studied before; however, there is no research carried out to evaluate their perceptions about faith tourism. The objective of this study: is to determine whether there is a significant difference from a demographic perspective in terms of the perceptions of visitors visiting the Mevlana Museum which is one of the important tourism centers in the country. A survey was carried out with the visitors visiting Mevlana Museum in line with this purpose. Out of the 352 questionnaires applied to the responders 340 were found appropriate for statistical analyses. The obtained data was interpreted with frequency analyses, Mann-Whitney U test and Kruskall-Wallis analyses. Various differences in the perception of visitors visiting Mevlana Museum for faith tourism have been determined.
